The most very special pieces. Each lovingly handmade by talented NZ ceramicist Dawn Clayden in Mangawhai, these are really future heirlooms to be treasured and handed down. Dawn's work has become highly sought after by collectors of New Zealand art, we are honoured to showcase her pieces on our shelves.
 
This vase initally starts with a very pale blush base fluted with elegand folds - reminiscent of a piece of draped fabric. Then over the top of that it is festooned with Dawn's signature daisies in white, ranging from minute through to rather large. Finished with a 12ct gold bee motif, it is such a stunning example of Dawn's talent. 
 
Perfectly imperfect, no two are entirely identical - what a treasure!

Measures 21cm tall to highest point;
17cm diameter at widest point, and the neck opening measures 15cm across, with varying width of 0.5cm to 3cm.
